Who is Jac?
Hi! I’m Jacques Rerolle (you can call me Jac). Half-French, half Malaysian, based on the heritage rich island of Penang. For over six years I’ve been publishing videos on my YouTube channel, Jac Reviews Stuff. To date I’ve produced around 1,200 videos for my approximately 5000 subscribers, with more being added all the time.
My style? Honest, unfiltered, and some might say a little awkward in a relatable way. You’ll often find me at product launches, soft openings, conventions, or in my studio reviewing random gadgets. Other days I can be seen out in Penang’s bustling streets and cafes filming local businesses or performing stand-up comedy with my own unique sense of humor.
What Stuff Does Jac Review?
While I was initially focused on unboxing and reviewing all sorts of tech and household gadgets, I have expanded the stuff I review to all sorts of experiences and locations. Now with short form video becoming popular, I often upload single take videos when the occasion presents itself. Short tutorials or public awareness clips are something that I’ve experimented with as well.
I’ve never defined what “Stuff” I review, because I review anything that interests me and that is an ever expanding list of stuff. A partial list of things I’ve reviewed in the past include:
