Who is Jac?
Hi! I’m Jacques Rerolle (you can call me Jac). Half-French, half Malaysian, based on the heritage rich island of Penang. For over six years I’ve been publishing videos on my YouTube channel, Jac Reviews Stuff. To date I’ve produced around 1,200 videos for my approximately 5000 subscribers, with more being added all the time.
My style? Honest, unfiltered, and some might say a little awkward in a relatable way. You’ll often find me at product launches, soft openings, conventions, or in my studio reviewing random gadgets. Other days I can be seen out in Penang’s bustling streets and cafes filming local businesses or performing stand-up comedy with my own unique sense of humor.

My packages begin at the “gifted product” level for reviews, and “paid sponsorships” from $50-500 USD, (RM200-2000) depending on scope. I offer a variety of options including:

I give honest reviews that express my genuine experience and opinions. My audience has come to rely on this, and that’s why they see me as trustworthy and relatable. I always strive to find the positives in any review and lead with those points first. At the same time, any good review will generally try to draw comparisons and present a few Cons as well as part of a well rounded opinion.
If a product or establishment doesn’t meet some of my expectations, I present those in the most fair and respectful way that I can. I also like to leave the door open for viewers to try the product or establishment for themselves and leave their comments if they support or disagree with my assessment. I think it’s also important to acknowledge a “work in progress” or suggest future changes to a product through firmware updates and later variants.
